I am trying to learn the fine art of photography.  I find myself in some beautiful places on occasion and what I would like to do is document what it is that I see there.  The primary reason that I want to document those things that I see is to maybe, hopefully encourage someone, anyone to get out of their comfortable house in their safe city to start exploring something that's new to them.

I have faith that my photos will at the moment do nothing but encourage people to try to get to a different page, quickly.  Nonetheless, I am hoping that as I learn more about how to accurately capture a scene or event that I find inspiring, motivating, or breath-taking something here will strike in you, a desire to explore something new as well.

Update July 2005-- I'm actually seeing some improvements now in my photos, so I'm kind of getting excited.  I think I've gone from absolute shithat to relatively mediocre.  HOOORAY!!!

2007 update - I have taken photos, recently, I am just still trying to figure out how to display them well. So for now, since I've garnered quite a few complaints about the redesign not having any new photos of any sort, I've done the following. I added an October Portfolio page, which is just shots that I like from the last few years all in one spot. Feedback as always is appreciated, though four letter words are generally not. So if you have not seen any of my pictures, just check out the 2007 October Portfolio for some of my best. Though I am noticing some pictures in there that shouldn't be.
