Here is one I like because of it's simplicity; the simplicity of the statement made by whoever painted this, the simplicity of the actual photo and the simplicity of the mindset of someone who would go out of their way to create a stencil and paint this all over a city.

Sometimes simplicity is stunningly stupid.

Light creates color, a broad range of color is an easy and cheesy way to take a pretty picture. This was one of my favorite sunsets. During the day, we had been rained on, snowed on and the storm was breaking near sunset. Perfect opportunity for some pictures, too bad my weak little body couldn't take the cold too long, nor could I hike to the peak to take pictures from a better vantage point because of my girly little legs. You can still see the rain in the background being lit by the setting sun.

Anyway, White mountain peak at sunset, after summer storm

Street murals are usually entertaining and sometimes interesting. Bigger cities usually have them, which is probably good, I'm not sure if some small town Morgan Hiller could have come up with a statement like this. I like for the content, rather than anything special about the photo (except the POV of the frame).

My favorite of the bunch. Fort Funston (I think that's the name). Some random broken old pier or something leading to nowhere. I like the content, the framing and most everything about it, but I wish the sky had a little more life in it. Anyway, I consider this one my coup de gras so far.
